Today was Kar1's first day of school.
She looked so cute with her Pr1ncess tennis shoes on and her backpack. R1ck took her picture by the front gate. Kind of a tradition at my parents' house.
I got to stay with her today. It was neat to be part of the day's activities. And she did really well. She met a little girl named J3nni. She met one of the other girls last week, who was also there today, but she and Kar1 did not play together. When we were leaving, Kar1 said, "I wish B had here." I said, "Honey, she was." And she said, "Hmm. I don't think so."
Out of sight, out of mind, I guess.
She said her favorite part of school was when she played Play-D0h with me.
I guess we need to play together more often.
Tara kept N0ah for me. He seemed to do really well. He better since he'll be there most days when I volunteer or have a field trip and he doesn't get to go.
We celebrated the first day with lunch at Chick-F1l-A. Gotta love their chicken and milkshakes.
Now it's naptime and I couldn't be happier.

Oh and Mom-Mom's doctor called. He has decreased her meds and she will be home by the weekend. Stubborn woman, eh?
