Well, the baby is not waiting until the 20th or March 1st apparently.
The X called R's cell at 12 AM to say D was having contractions 15 minutes apart and when he didn't answer left him a message instead of calling the house phone. Then D texted me at 6 AM to tell me they were on the way to the hospital. She didn't call the house phone either! Well, not until 9 AM.
She was at 4 cm, but her water hadn't broken or anything. I think they were starting pitocin.
R secured a flight for today, but couldn't get one earlier than 6 PM that didn't cost as much as a mortgage payment. He may have been able to get an earlier one had the X called the house phone at 12 AM, but oh well.
D called back at 10 AM to say they were breaking her water at 11-11:30 AM and that the Dr. estimated that the baby would arrive between 3-4 PM.
At least R will be there sometime today. The X just chaps my butt and I am so glad I am not going. I mean, she didn't even call R's mom or dad until after 9 AM this morning! She made sure all of her family was notified, but screw R's!
No love lost there, can you tell?
Well, got to get back to getting R's stuff ready. We were suppose to be heading to DE to spend time with N1cole and Co., Jan1e and Crew and T@ra and Clan, so I will be going alone with the kiddos. We are going to drop R off at the airport on our way and he is going to try to get an earlier flight.
