I have been dealing with this cough for over a week now and I have had enough. I spent 5-10 minutes at the toilet this morning hacking up mucus. How's that for a visual? I have a PChef show tonight and can not cough on the food or the guests! And I missed Bible study again because of this cough.
Ugh.
AND....I had an Open House on Saturday that only four people attended with only one of them ordering (the others either just had a show or are having shows in the very near future. You do not order when you are going to get stuff for free.) I was hoping for $300 in sales, but instead I sliced a big chunk of my thumb off on our slicer thingy and had to send my mom to get my 15 year old son out of jail. Seems not paying to ride the lightrail finally caught up with him. He'll be 16 on Saturday. Not even close to getting his license. Very close to attending a N@tional Guard Job Corp in July. His application goes in tomorrow. He has testing next week. He has basically dropped out of school - had to, to be able to attend the corp.
Sometimes the future takes a drastic detour and lands you in a ditch.
