N0ah is sick again and we missed the zoo trip at K@ri's school today. We were supposed to follow in the van while R1ck rode the bus with K, but I didn't want to risk taking N with a low grade fever and with him vomiting for most of the morning yesterday. Kar1 woke up early Sunday morning vomiting, but never had a fever. We skipped church, but I wasn't going to make her skip the trip since she didn't have a fever. But, N0ah was real off yesterday, so I opted to miss the trip.
You'd think I would be getting more done around here, but nope. I did run a load of dishes, but that's been about it. Oh, and I talked to T@ra on the phone for a while . It was so good to talk to her. We have not had time to do anything together with sports and well, just life lately so it was nice to catch up a bit.
R1ck and K@ri should be home in an hour. Just in time for naps.
Sigh. I hate being so tired all the time. And I think I forgot to take my meds this morning. Might help with the lightheadedness I have been experiencing today. That should have clued me in earlier.
Pray for R1ck. He has an interview on Thursday. Seems silly for him to be looking for a different job when the whole reason we moved was for him to work for my dad and help build his business into a multimillion dollar corporation he could leave to our sons, but.....I do not know how much longer he can stand working for my father. So much is so different than what we thought it would be when we moved here. It is frustrating.
J0sh seems to have turned over a new leaf of sorts. We are still pushing for him to go to the NG program, but he may have lost his spot. Have to be drug free and he has failed his last four urine tests. Yeah. But, he has been working with my mom and going to church with my parents, even visitation and youth activities. And he seems to be making good friends. I still have my concerns, but I will save those for another time. It would take a bit of background information that I am not sure I want to dredge up right now. I am still trying to work through some of it.
Cody went back to school today after a three day suspension for slapping a student in the face. Another student told him to slap the kiddo, so he did. I think that sealed his fate for admission into the charter school we were applying to this week. That boy perplexes me at times.
Kar1 graduates from K-4 in three weeks. I can't believe she will be a kindergarter next year.
Time goes by way too fast.
